General Policy on Confidentiality and Privacy
It is Klatu's policy not to share any information whatsoever with any third party without the express permission from the owner of that information, unless we are compelled by law, or in order to protect the rights, property, or safety of Klatu's stakeholders, others, or for the purposes of fraud protection and credit risk reduction. If we are compelled to do so, we will inform you accordingly, unless otherwise instructed by a law-enforcement agency or court of law.

E-Mail Notifications & Opt-In / Opt-Out Policy
We use email messages to communicate with nexisting and prospective customers. We announce changes in services and announce future services and relevant programs.  If you prefer NOT to receive emails from our company, please notify us by email and we will remove your email address from any future email listings.  We may amend this privacy policy from time to time and will post any changes on our Privacy page.   We do not share the email recipient lists with any third parties. Please contact us if you require additional information or have any questions.

E-Store Confidential Information
We consider the transactional information and customer information generated by an e-store to be the confidential property of the e-store's owner. Each e-store is a separate instance of our e-commerce engine, with its own pricing and authorized supplier catalogs. Only the administrator of an e-store, or whomever the administrator authorizes, can access their authorized catalog and pricing.

Supplier Confidential Information
We consider supplier pricing, freight tables, discounts and other information to be part of a confidential relationship between a supplier and the supplier's customer. We do not reveal any supplier information to any party outside of this relationship. Each e-store is a separate instance of our e-commerce engine, with its own pricing and authorized supplier catalogs. Only the administrator of an e-store, or whomever the administrator authorizes, can access their authorized catalog and pricing.

Security
We use our best efforts to protect the security of the transactional information during transmission by using 128 bit Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts information. Our servers and databases operate securely from BellSouth's eBusiness co-location center. We also employ various internal security measures to prevent and restrict unauthorized access to the underlying databases and applications.
