At Klatu, we now offer a product for resellers that have their own e-commerce platform and do not require a new e-store or shopping cart. You will be able to offer your customers the products your distributors make available to you along with the relevant CNET product information and images.   This catalog can also be expanded to include products not carried by your suppliers.

Our new Distributor Catalog & CNET Content Product Data Bundle, consists of 2 Files:

File 1 Contains the CNET product information. The table structure:

1.  Product ID
2.  Manufacturer ID
3.  Manufacturer Name
4.  Manufacturer Part Number
5.  Standard Description
6.  Marketing Description
7.  Main Specifications
8.  Extended Specifications with section breaks
9.  Image File name: 

File 2 Contains your supplier’s Price & Availability file with this structure. This file can represent various suppliers.

1.  Product ID
2.  Supplier ID
3.  Supplier Name
4.  Supplier Cost
5.  Supplier Description
6.  Supplier Available Quantity

Steps
The files will be delivered as Zipped Tab-Delimited TXT files and placed in your assigned folder on our FTP server.  Once you have downloaded and unzipped both files you can create product-specific (language-specific) pages with the product information.

Requirements
You will require a relational database application such as MySQL, Microsoft Access or Microsoft SQL as well as sufficient disc space. Each distributor catalog contains around 100,000 active product records.

Daily Updates (Deltas)
File 1 contains new product information.  At your request (optionally) we can generate a full File 1 download.  File 2 will be updated daily for pricing and availability for all the products in your catalog

Simple
